Most sports insurance policies provided by eSportsInsurance have a $1,000,000 per Occurrence Limit and up to a $3,000,000 aggregate limit.
However, some sports organizations, especially large organizations, may need or be required to have a higher per occurrence or aggregate limit than is provided standard.
In order to increase the per occurrence limit, an organization will need to purchase an umbrella policy or an excess policy. This policy will raise the per occurrence limit and aggregate limit by the excess or umbrella policy amount (normally $1,000,000).
So, if an organization needed a $2,000,000 per occurrence limit, they would purchase one umbrella policy, which would add $1,000,000 of coverage on top of their already standard $1,000,000 policy limit, for a total of $2,000,000. Many companies allow stacking of multiple umbrellas, which provides even higher ($3,000,000+) per Occurrence or Aggregate limits.
