Amateur Youth and Adult Sports Liability Insurance Plan
Our Amateur Youth and Adult Sports Liability Insurance coverage provides $1,000,000 of liability protection per occurrence, with a $2,000,000 aggregate limit per location. The policy covers judgments and awards, as well as legal fees and court costs. The policy provides coverage for lawsuits for bodily injury, property damage and personal injury (i.e., defamation of character, libel, slander, false arrest). You can extend the policy to cover the interest of other (usually a field or facility owner) as additional insured under this policy.
Participant liability is an important feature of this liability plan. The policy provides coverage for lawsuits brought against your organization by players or participants who may have been injured. Some insurance carriers exclude this important coverage.
Important note: Because the liability plan provides coverage for participant liability, it is an underwriting requirement that your organization have accident medical coverage in force for all participants.
